West Head with Sharon and Lydia

It was a gorgeous day for a walk. I met Lydia and Sharon at The Marina Cafe and then we drove with Sharon to West Head for views of Palm Beach and a lovely walk to Resolute Beach where I had a swim. A great outing to start the New Year.

Walk to Resolute Beach (West Head) with Elna

Elna bought a book of the best and most remote swimming spots in Sydney. She is planning to explore them all if she can.  She asked me to join me on an adventure to the first one on the list: Resolute Beach.  The walk in was lovely, taking about 30 minutes, through pristine bush. The beach itself was gorgeous too, with beautiful blue sea and some nice sculptured rocks. We had a lovely swim. Hopefully I will join her on lots more of her outings as she ticks down the list.

West Head

A glorious afternoon out with Srini and Kate at West Head. I did this shortish hike in 2011, great to do it again.  The highlight was a swim in the sea; the perfect temperature.
