Lockley's Pylon (Blue Mountains)

Monday dawned a beautiful day after several days of rain. It was lovely to see the hiking gang again and get into the mountains. It was a low effort high return hike with beautiful views in all directions.

My oldest pot plant suddenly sprouted the most amazing flowers for the first time in the 8 years I have had it.

To Brendan and Eva for a delicious breakfast and then we walked part of The Manly Scenic walk.

Sharon and I went over to Lydia's to see her new place right close to the water.  Then we went for a hike nearby and finally a swim at Balmoral.  Plus the most delicious grilled calamari.  Yum!!

Blue Mountain hike

Not the best hike.  It rained most of the way and then we were unable to get down a slippery chain to get to the cave where we were going to spend the night. I actually wasn't disappointed to turn round and have a warm night in my bed.
