A 3 day visit to Carcoar

 A wonderful, relaxing time with some of my favourite people in the world.

Highlights

• Soul nourishing chats with Dom during the car trip there and back.
• Listening to the story of Tina's early life.
• The gorgeous animals. I love them all. Gypsie and Mellie the dogs. The chicken who comes into the house. The beautiful cat. The gorgeous horse and his two sheep side kicks.
• Watching the movie Sovereign. Rather bleak story but amazing acting.
• Some amazing meals at Ruths, cafe, pub and Lebanese restaurant on the way home.
• Doing a thorough clean, sweep and tidy before I went.

I really bonded with Rosie this trip. She allowed me to pet her, probably because I often put her bowl of food down early in the morning when I got up.

Helping Tina settle in

Tina has moved to Carcoar, a tiny town just over 3 hours from Cape Town. I went with her to help her move in.

Elna cooked me a delicious Asian inspired dinner. Always lovely to see her and say howdi to her beautiful kitties.

Farewell Darling Feta

It's gutting to say goodbye to Feta. Thankfully, we have found a wonderful, friendly home for her and she's settling in well.
