Playing Wingspan

It took a while to learn the rather complex rules but after that, I really loved the game.  It is a birder's delight. Always lovely to spend an evening with Russell, Brandon and Warren. I forgot my glasses and had to drive back with Russell and Brandon to get them as I couldn't read the cards!

Sydney Botanical Gardens with Photography Meetup

I haven't been to the Botanical Gardens for quite some time, so it was lovely to return there with my Photography Meetup group. With spring having sprung, there were lots of gorgeous flowers in full bloom.

Birds of Iceland

Apart from Puffins, we also saw razorbills, guillemots, fulmars, kittiwakes, eider duck, snow bunting, whimbrel, red-necked pharalope and Eurasian oystercatcher. The highlight was the bird cliffs of Grimsey Island where we saw hundreds of thousands of sea birds. It was an absolute sight to behold!
