A lovely morning at Kirstenbosch

I loved my time at Kirstenbosch yesterday. It is such a beautiful and special place and so fully of memory. The highlight was seeing a Spotted Eagle Owl and getting some close up photos of it. 

Betty's Bay

An early morning get up so Russell could do the 5 km Park Run in the Harold Botanical Gardens. I walked up onto the slopes and did some bird photography. Then Carmen and her wonderful Aunt joined us for breakfast and a walk to Disa Kloof. In the afternoon, we went to see the penguins and had a glorious swim in the Palmiet River.  All in all, an absolutely super day.
