Cape Town, Plett, Victoria Falls, Chobe 2019 & 2020 Highlights

A glorious 6.5 weeks in the Western Cape, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Highlights included camping at Beaverlac, ziplining in Ceres, beaching and boating with the Boting family in Plett and doing the Robberg Hike. Futher afield, we flew to Victoria Falls on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe and we did wildlife viewing in Chobe.

Flying into Sydney at dusk

...reminiscing about the amazing time I had in South Africa.

The Silo for high tea

Jo and I treated mum and Mike to high tea at the Silo.  Our waitor's name was Yummy and the kind of summed up the whole experience.  Delicious food!  The hotel was amazing too with great views.

Llandudno with friends

It looked like it would rain but it held off. Nothing beats sunset at Llandudno even on a cloudy evening. A great way to say farewell to Russel, Lisa and The Herds.

Walk in The Green Belt with Jo

Jo is so lucky to have this gem of a place so close to where she lives.  We had a great time putting Jo's new phone camera to the test.  Jason loved it too of course.

Robberg hike (Plett)

Robberg makes my soul come alive. It must be one of the most beautiful hikes anywhere in the world.  It has everything; wild oceans, sea cliffs, sand-dunes to run down, a beautiful swimming beach, great wildlife (seals, lizards, gulls.)  This was my second time here.  We did it with Jo's wonderful hiking girls and their families.
