Beaching and boating in Plett

Plett provides the best beach holiday imaginable. We swam just about everyday and body surfed to our heart's content.  On one morning, we joined Jo's hiking girls for an 8 km hike along the beach.  Antony, Colin and Matt also did the "beach swim challenge:, walking to and catching a wave at all 8 beaches. There was also much munching of granadilla lollies.

Gert took us out on his boat a couple of times and we went out to sea, all the way to the Robberg point.  Lots of seals and sea birds to enjoy and great views of the coast line.

• My time in Plett with the Boting family, including the beautiful Robberg hike and beaching and boating.
• Going to The Silo for high tea with Jo, Mum and Mike.

• Two visits to Carcoar to be with Tina.  First, helping Tina settle in. Then a visit with Shushann where I stayed at a Christian monastery.
• Many amazing hikes with Gavin and Srini, especially Centennial Glen and the hike down to river  and two canyoning trips, the second with snakes!
• Many walks with Lydia and Shushann especially Le Perouse. and Manly Dam.
• Blue Mountains weekend with Lydia and Shushann
• Supporting Gavin with his Ted Talk.
• The Van Gogh digital exhibition.
• Two photo meet ups: Manly  and Newtown Photo Meet Up.
• Creating a cover for my air conditioning unit.

Plett Art and Crafts

We visited a beautiful arts and crafts store and I was in heaven photographing the different patterns and colours in the merchandise. I also bought another stone Buddha for my room. I've got quite a Buddha collection now!

Driving to Plett

The drive to Plett is beautiful although its all looking extremely dry in the farm lands.  We stopped off at an excellent spot for lunch - yummy French toast.

For my Xmas present, Matt and Sam took me to Truth Coffee. It was an amazing place with a great vibe and decor all of its own.
