So lovely to catch up with everyone. I had the most delicious lamb shoulder for lunch. Then we went for a glorious walk to and through the Botanical Gardens. A fantastic day out with good friends.

One of the topics of discussion was Mark's being nominated for a big award in his field. He is security manager for the new Sydney Metro. The awards ceremony was to be held the following week.
Well, amazing, he won the major award! And his team also won a big award. This is the "Oscars" of risk & security management so it was a huge deal. Liz was there to witness it and join the celebration. I'm so happy for him. Mark is such a lovely guy and he deserves it after all the incredible work he has put it. The Metro has been such a resounding success.
