Favourite movies & TV: AI

I love AI movies because they explore one of the most fascinating questions imaginable: what happens when the things we create begin to think, feel and act for themselves? Films and series such as Companion, M3GAN, Upgrade, Westworld, Ex Machina and Her approach the subject in very different ways, blending science fiction with horror, thrillers, romance and philosophy. I am drawn to the tension between humans and machines, but also to the deeper questions these stories raise about consciousness, identity, love, free will and what it really means to be human. The best AI stories are exciting and unpredictable, yet they also feel increasingly relevant, making them both entertaining and unsettling.
