Taronga Zoo to Manly with Srini and Rajesh

A lovely 20 + km walk along the coast.  The sun was out for most of the day, and then some dramatic clouds descended as we approached Manly, great for photos.  After the hike, a welcome beer at a local pub, sipping their homemade brew, and savouring hot chips and the chef's special, hot sticky date pudding.  Yum!

Wild wins and sweltering temperatures

Wild winds swept Sydney.  Here is the harbour looking more turbulent than I've seen it in a long time.

The combination of high winds and 36 degree temperature brought many fires to Sydney.  The clouds over the city here are clouds of smoke!!  Hundred of houses were burnt in Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains.

Little Wobby to Woy Woy Walk

A 13 km hike with great water views.  We got there by ferry after a lovely coffee at the Hawkesbury Marina.  We got lost half way through on the ridge and had to double back but it didn't spoil the hike.

This jelly fish was pretty amazing with its well marked cross.

Sue, Pamela and I got the ferry to the photo exhibition on Antarctica and also an exhibit of Ansel Adam's work at Darling Harbour.

Urban Bay Walk (Lavender Bay-Berrys Bay-Balls Head Bay)

I did a great hike with my first meet up group.  A wonderful day with a lovely bunch of people, walking along a relaxed but scenic route in the sunshine.  It was a familiar route but I discovered some hidden gems I didn't know about like the North Sydney Art Gallery and the exquisite Secret Garden.
