Pub dinner with Gavin and Michael on a rainy night

Beef pie and truffles at a smart Irish pub in the city. We walked from Central to The Rocks, a walk I always enjoy. It was a stormy night and we got pretty wet at times.

Gavin has written another book, this time partnering with Dr Mark Williams, a neuroscientist. The book is about limiting the time kids spend on their devices and the dangers of social media for the developing brain. The book is already number one on the book charts!  Our friend Jack, who is a teacher, did a fabulous job of facilitating a talk between Gavin and Mark by asking great questions. After the launch, we all went to the pub to celebrate the milestone.

• Dropping my iphone on a walk and finding it. What a relief!
• Finding a Funnelweb spider under Gavin's tent. The most poisonous spider in Australia. If it bites you, you can be dead in 15 minutes!

Camping near Blue Mountains Dry Canyon

A wonderful weekend of camping and exploring a nearby dry canyon. The highlight was the scrumptious beef Goulash that Michal made us for dinner in a thick pot on the fire.  A weekend full of fun and laughter.
