Spider-Man has always been the superhero I've connected with most. I love that beneath all the spectacular action, his stories are really about growing up, making mistakes, falling in love and trying to do the right thing even when life is incredibly difficult. The romance has always been a big part of the appeal for me too, giving the films a warmth and emotional depth that many superhero stories lack. And I'll never get tired of the fantasy of swinging between towering city buildings—it looks like the ultimate feeling of freedom. On top of all that, Spider-Man has some of the greatest villains ever created. Characters like Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Venom are memorable not just because they're powerful, but because they challenge Peter Parker in deeply personal ways.
