Warrumbungle National Park

A wonderful long weekend of camping and hiking.

Highlights
  • Driving up in Graeme's land-rover with Lauren and Christian, Lauren's new man.
  • The amazing Grand High Tops walk with close views of The Breadknife.
  • Rob lying in wait, taking photos.
  • The amazing pottery place where we enjoyed a delicious pizza.
  • Healthy vegetarian fare while everyone else tucked into meat galore.
  • The sunset from a beautiful vantage point.
  • Exploring the wonderful caves and taking lots of photos there.
  • JC, who joined us when his hip forced him to abandon his hike. I love his sense of humour so much.
  • The best moment: going for a walk in the beautiful early morning light and photographing kangaroos, including two kangaroos boxing.

Chris did a great job on his speech on such an important topic!  Both Aimee and I were there to watch and support.  I feature in the speech towards the end.
