I came here with Mack and together we watched dusk fall on The Three Sisters. Such a beautiful sight. I'd swear Mack was as mesmerized as I was. I met a lovely fellow photographer and we had a great chat.
I went to the Medieval Festival in North Ryde today - a great day out with knights jousting and fighting and merry wenches cheering. The highlight was the kids who came in their little costumes and watching how excited they got. Conditions were not good for photography (harsh light) but here are some of my captures.
I went to see the new baby elephant that has been in the news and take some more animal portraits.
Playful seal
Baby elephant (very cute!). He was on the national news - the first Asian elephant ever born in Australia - and there is a huge competition to see who can come up with a name for him.
I went to take some photos of a rugby match for a friend of mine, Bruce. That's him in the middle of the first photo. And him leaping in the second photo in the line out. I took a lot of photos but here is a small sample. Sports photography is hard I have decided but definitely a good challenge.
