Sydney Triathlon

Charles and I went to watch the Sydney Triathlon at Mrs Macquaries Chair and take some photos. It was a good morning out. Having ticked off my triathlon quota in the UK (yes, once was enough!), I was happy to take snaps on the sidelines...

Santa always dreaded dropping off presents at 12 Beach Head Road

Berry Island

Mack and I took mum and Mike for a walk to Berry Island Reserve, just down (the emphasis on down!) the road from us. Mum loved the red rock formations at the water's edge but was not so keen on the extreme uphill slog required to get back home. Mike's weeekly training at Kirstenbosch came in handy. Mack took it all in his stride...

My favourite post

I am fast coming up to my 1250 th post on G-Trove. That's a lot of posts! I was wondering what my favourite post is - but didn't have to think long. It's undoubtedly the post about our trip to Galapagos. In celebration of this fact, I used some of my newfound Adobe Lightroom skills (what great software!) and tweeked my Galapagos photos (improved exposure, sharpening, contrast etc.) and upped their size. It was great to revisit my memories of this amazing place.

If I was hardpressed to name my second favourite post, it would be Uyuni Salt Pans. I would love to go back there one day.

Mum and Mike return from Tasmania

Softball

Claudia asked me to take some photos of her school softball team playing ball. It was great fun. I even managed to get the team to do a Myburgian Leap.
