An amazing 8 hour hike including 3.5 hours in the canyon. The hike involved climbing up a sheer cliff which caused me a bit of consternation. Srini and John were great and guided me through it. I discovered my wet suit had a big hole in it but thankfully the canyon water was not to bad. Some of the pools we had to swim along were over 100 metres long!

Snake canyoning with the boys
This canyon was the bomb with lots of places you needed to leap into the water to go forwards. The snakes added some extra adrenaline. The brown snakes weren't to scary, it was the large black one in the water that we had to swim past that caused some consternation!

Canyoning in The Blue Mountains
What better way to spend a 40 degree day than to enjoy the cool climes of a canyon! Thank you Srini for introducing me to a wonderful new form of adventure.
I'm very glad we had wetsuits, the water was freezing! |
Srini having a well earned beer after getting to the end of the canyon. |
Rewarded by a great view after the steep walk out. |
Large swathes of the bushland showed signs of the terrible burning NSW has been experiencing. |
