Weapons is one of the creepiest horror films I've seen in a long time. It creates an unsettling atmosphere from the opening scenes and keeps you guessing throughout. Just when I thought I understood where the story was heading, it took another unexpected turn. There are several genuinely shocking moments, but the film relies more on suspense and mystery than cheap jump scares.
What really elevated it for me was the ending. It managed to answer the central mystery in a satisfying way while still leaving plenty to think about afterwards. It's rare for a horror film to be both unpredictable and to stick the landing, but Weapons does exactly that.
