Researching birding spots in Capertee Valley

My next intended bird trip is Capertee Valley. Capertee Valley, in central-western New South Wales between Lithgow and Mudgee, is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading birdwatching locations. The valley contains a mix of habitats, including grassy farmland, box-gum woodland, river corridors, and surrounding sandstone escarpments, which together support a high diversity of species. More than 230 bird species have been recorded in the area, including wedge-tailed eagle, regent honeyeater (seasonal and threatened), glossy black-cockatoo, and diamond firetail. Key access points include the Capertee River corridor and various public roads and reserves throughout the valley.
