I did a fabulous tour of Government House yesterday. What a beautiful building. Government House is the official residence and workplace of the Governor of New South Wales. It is located inside the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, close to Sydney Harbour. The current building was completed in 1845 and is built in a Gothic Revival style using local sandstone. It is used for official ceremonies, meetings, and state events, and is an important historic building in New South Wales.
