Xmas in Sydney

I spent Xmas with Shushann, Allan, Xenia and Judie.  Lovely succulent turkey and pavlova were the culinary highlights. We had a bit of a sleep and then did some karaoke with Xmas and other songs. A beautiful day with special friends.

 

Xmas in Cape Town

The family did their main meal on Xmas eve. Xmas morning brought on the ritual swim at St James.

So many beautiful, new friends made this year through this wonderful group. Thank you mum for encouraging me in 2013 to join Meetup. It's brought so many wonderful people and experiences into my life through hiking and now photography. 

The famous annual G&T Xmas Party

Always an absolute blast with lots to eat.  I love it all except the Secret Santa game at the end. With Gavin's highly suspect rules, the game goes on for ever and you always, always have your preferred gift stolen, thus destroying all remnants of festive cheer!!  No, only joking. It's part of the annual tradition and wouldn't be the same without it.

 So lovely to join the Boting family and friends for their annual Xmas morning ritual of a swim at St James. 

Xmas lunch with the family

So wonderful to be with the family over Xmas this year. The highlights of the sumptuous lunch included gammon, chicken, turkey, amazing salads and xmas cake ice cream.  Yum!!!

 Also lovely to see the old xmas carols. Brings back memories from my choir days. The pastor gave a wonderful sermon.
