A lovely 15 km hike with Sydney Explorers. It was a very warm 26 degree day but thankfully there was shade and water most of the way. And an added bonus was good views at the end of another of Sydney's iconic bridges, The Roseville Bridge. Our hike ended there and we got to walk under it and across it.
Roseville Bridge
Roseville Bridge crosses Middle Harbour between Roseville Chase and Killarney Heights, carrying six lanes of traffic along Warringah Road. Opened on 2 April 1966, it is a concrete box-girder bridge approximately 377 metres long, rising more than 17 metres above the water. It replaced a narrower, low-level bridge nearby and improved road access between Sydney’s North Shore and the Northern Beaches.
