Graeme is an online strategist who specialises in the development of digital roadmaps, marketing communication plans and functional specifications.

Involved in the internet space since 1998, Graeme has a passion for all forms of digital communications. His 10 years of experience in the interactive industry provide him with deep strategic insight into how effective capitalisation of the digital channel can transform businesses.

During his career, Graeme has worked in over 8 countries and has developed and implemented online marketing strategies across multiple industries for both multi-national and start up companies.  He has also managed the design and development of multiple internet and extranet sites and online applications.

Clients that Graeme has worked for include La Trobe University, Sydney Airport, Dulux, Hanson, Virtual Medical Centre, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Old Mutual, Volvo and Bank Hapoalim.

Some examples of Graeme's achievements are as follows:
  • Developed an online marketing strategy for Hotdockets and subsequently built a database of 100,000 members and monthly revenue of $40,000 through ad serving, sponsorships and affiliate marketing within a year.
  • Developed an online strategy for Volvo and managed a range of online marketing initiatives that more than doubled the number of monthly visitors and leads in 18 months.
  • Led a rebranding exercise for Bank Hapoalim, Israel's largest bank, and developed a web site that won awards for being the strongest financial web site in Israel.
  • Initiated and developed an online portal for Old Mutual (a large financial services group) that was rolled out to 25,000 brokers and reduced communication and administration costs by 35%.
Graeme has worked for Blackglass as a strategist for close to 3 years. Before that, he worked as the global e-commerce manager for Volvo, based in Cambridge in the United Kingdom, and before that, as a lead stategist for Siegelgale, an interactive agency based in London.  

Graeme has an honours degree from the University of Cape Town.  He majored in business strategy and economics.
