Stanley

Stanley was a lovely, sleepy town on the northern coast of Tasmania. We stayed in a cosey place close to the water.  Thankfully they had a powerful heater as the weather was extremely brisk!  We all went for an invigorating walk on the hill overlooking the town and enjoyed some great views.

On the road in Tasmania

Breakfast

One of the nicest meals we had: an omelette to beat all omelettes.

Beautiful Tassie

A spontaneous dunk in the ocean

Brrrrr, it was freezing !!!  Roger dived in too, brave soul.  Russell was about to when the frigid wind came up, and he promptly changed his mind !

Lovely fudge

So many novel flavours to try.  The coffee was good too.

The little town of Penguin

We travelled to Tasmania on the night ferry which allowed us to take Roger's car.  The little town of Penguin was our first stop after getting off the boat.  We didn't get to see actual penguins on the beach, but we saw references to them all over the town. As you'd expect, they are penguin mad.

All things Penguin !

Photo fun on the boat

Roger and Jocelyn's wedding

Just a smattering of the photos taken at Roger and Jocelyn's wedding.  Roger loves black and white, so I did quite a few in that style.  Thanks for the pre-set Jo !!

I've created a wedding site here. Very happy with how it came out.
