The Grand Canyon and Centennial Glen after all the rain

The water was out in force in The Blue Mountains after all the rain.  We had to cross some rampant streams and even help a family of young kids to get across. The highlight of the day was an invigorating swim in a canyon rock pool with a thundering waterfall at our backs. Such a great day out despite Srini spraining his foot and having to take it very easy.

The forecast said it was going to rain but we went anyway, and the weather was great. A lovely day out swimming in a beautiful creek and walking to Uloola Falls.  I got to meet two of Srini's friends, such a wonderful couple.

 

 

Hiking the Red Track in Bungonia National Park

A great hike down into and along a deep canyon.  Some brilliant boulder-hopping along the way.  Srini taught me to bridge.  A very useful technique but not perfected yet!
