Andreas and Ingrid's new house

I went round to see Andreas and Ingrid's new home. It is a wonderful family home in French's Forest that ticks all their boxes. They are delighted to be able to settle down into their own home without having to ask permission to knock nails into the walls or give up their weekends house hunting. I just can't believe how fast Anna is growing - she's already walking down steps - with a little help from mum and dad of course.

I love watching Andreas with the kids. He might not be the youngest dad I know but he's definitely the most fun and most affirming.

North Sydney Farmers Market

Our monthly ritual is to goto the North Sydney Farmers Market, just 5 minutes from our home and an endless source of fresh produce including the most delicous pastries and coffee. Dogs are welcomed and Mack gets to meet a varied array of friendly mutts including the very strange looking fellow below.

Welcome Anna

Ingrid has just given birth to a little daughter. Her name is Anna and she is absolutely beautiful. Congratulations to Andreas and Ingrid on the new addition to their family. We look forward to watching Anna grow up...

Ingrid is due to give birth to a baby daughter (Anna) on 7th April. SHe has officially had enough of pregnancy and is counting down the days....

Christmas 2008

We made the most of our new home this year by inviting all our orphan friends (i.e. those without family in Australia) over for Xmas lunch. Ally as usual outdid herself with a veritable feast (I'm still stuffed 5 hours later!) The glazed ham was the highlight. The barbecued lamb and prawns were also pretty good. Dessert was a wonderful joint effort with Kerry doing her famous lemon cheesecake, Ingrid her delicious Forest Chocolate Cake and Eva her orgasmic mango icecream. I can't wait to tuck into the left overs tomorrow...
