The mountain in the photo is a live volcano. The allure of climbing it is one of the main drawing cards of Pucon - along with the beautiful lake of course.
it was awesome. one of the best things i have done. got very sunburned on the bottom part of my nose from sun reflection off the snow - i will remember to put sunscreen there next time i hike in the ice!
